Charlotte

That big spider - she's Charlotte - and lives on the front porch of Maddie's preschool teacher's house. She's a Golden Silk Spider also known as a "banana spider" or Golden Silk Orb Weaver and every bit as huge in real life!

She has not one, but two males in her web and just recently laid an egg sac on the ceiling of the porch!

Here are some pictures I took of her and her gigantic web - it's truly gold and amazing!

and yes, I'm ready for Fall! The pumpkin patch is coming soon! I can't wait!
