Bit by bit I'm being indoctrinated into the world of boys. After having a prim little princess (who will of course get muddy and sandy) I'm learning about trucks and all those fun boy things.
Mostly I'm learning about climbing.
And I've learned that wyatt is a very good climber. It's not uncommon to walk into the kitchen and find that he's pulled the kitchen chairs away from the table so he can use them to climb onto the table. He's not happy just SITTING on the table, though - he has to stand up on it.
Anything with a flat surface is fair game - or sometimes not even a flat surface works, too.
He likes to draw attention to himself once he's scaled the latest mountain - kitchen counter, toilet seat, train table.
His latest obsession, though is Evil Knievelish. Using his little trike as a platform, he grabs the handlebars and stands up on the seat proclaiming, "TA DA!"

Often I will hear these words and smile because I know exactly what to expect when I walk into the room.
If I don't respond to his "TA DA" he will continue to say it over and over until I appear in the room to congratulate him on his accomplishment.

Play by Play Pictures (and thanks for the new jammies Grandmomma!) I think the shirt that says "I'm Awesome" fits the pictures perfectly.

Of course, being the genius that he is - Wyatt has also discovered that the trike is useful for other ventures like climbing onto the couch so he can run on it.

Unfortunately I caught him trying to climb over the back of the couch onto our desk... He grabbed the wireless keyboard to Mike's computer, dragged it over the back of the couch onto the couch and sat down with it on his lap and started typing.
Maybe he's going to start blogging soon, too!
