At 18 months, Wyatt still nurses a few times a day. He's dropped a lot of the anxiety feedings as I call them - you know when I sit on the floor and he runs over demanding "mak mak mak."
This morning he and Maddie and I were all cuddling in bed (my favorite time of the day really!) and I'd already nursed him when he woke up. We were playing around - Wyatt was taking the paci out of Maddie's baby doll's mouth to make it cry - what a bully!
He moved over to a different part of the bed and turned around and looked at me and said his usual, "mak mak mak."
"But you've already nursed this morning, " I told him.
"Mommy, he needs some mommy milk," Maddie chimed in.
"Wyatt, do you want some mommy milk?" I asked him.
"No, No, No - TEA!" he responded.
"Tea, Tea, TEA!"
and his "tea" isn't hot with milk - it's sweet and iced - just like his daddy.
However I had to deny his request since it was 8 o'clock in the morning. His daddy might drink it for his morning beverage, but my kids are either getting milk or orange juice!
